Postponement of 2021 Golf Day

Dear NPRF golf supporters.

First & foremost I hope you and your families remain well in what has been a challenging and difficult year.

When I wrote my previous email to you in March of last year, I would never have imagined that we’d all still be in lockdown nearly 12 months later, our lives and livelihoods would have been so curtailed and all golf courses in England would still be closed!

I am sorry to say that I am writing to inform everyone that unfortunately but understandably, Stocks Golf Club has taken the decision to keep the course closed to visitors and societies for the whole of 2021, prioritising the safety of their members.  As such, I’m afraid that for the second year in a row, I have the disappointing job of letting you know that the NPRF Golf Day is being postponed.

We were looking forward to hosting you at Stocks on 15th May but we will now have to wait to hold the event until next year. The only silver lining is that we do have a date reserved for 2022. Please keep Friday 6th May 2022 free when we hope, third time lucky, we’ll be able to welcome you all back to Stocks Golf Club.

Some of you generously agreed to ‘roll over’ your entry fees from last year. I’ll work on the basis that you are happy to do so again, but if you would prefer to obtain a refund please just get in touch and I’ll be happy to arrange full repayment.

Thanks for your patience and continued support.

I’ll be back in touch again nearer the time.

All the best,

Jeremy Tipper
