As a small charity we are eternal grateful to everyone who organises events, raising much needed funds for the NPRF. We are also fortunate that our local community is so amazing and keep rising to various challenges helping us continue to support research.
One team doing that is the team at Ashington Page in Beaconsfield (Gareth, Tracey, Angela, Julia and Belinda) who have taken on the Ridgeway Challenge over 4 separate days this year, walking a total of 87 miles. Their first successful day was back in May and today, 23rd June sees Tracey and Belinda take on the second day. They will be walking 23 miles from Ashbury to West Berkshire of Streatly passing by Neolithic Barrows to the White Horse at Uffington before passing by Wantage and Compton.
For more information about the Challenge that they have taken on, check out their Virgin Just Giving Page and please help them reach their target. We’ll post more photos as we get them, so keep an eye out for them.
Good luck girls!
